Why we process your data and on what legal basis
Enquiries and communications
If you write to us using the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide in order to respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, to maintain any relationship arising from it. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by sending us the message, and our legitimate interest in replying to those who contact us.
Job applications
If you apply for a selection process or send us your CV, we process your data in order to assess your application, contact you during the process and, if you are selected, begin the employment relationship. The legal basis is the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request. If you also authorise us to keep your application for future processes, that retention is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not use automated systems to reject applications or to create profiles: selection decisions are made by people.
Internal Reporting System
Communications received through the Internal Reporting System are processed in accordance with Spanish Law 2/2023 of 20 February on the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and on the fight against corruption. All the specific information is available on the system’s own page.
Browsing the website
When you visit the website, data relating to your browsing is processed on the terms explained in the cookie policy, which you can access from the footer and where you can change your preferences at any time.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries are kept for as long as the relationship arising from them lasts and, thereafter, for the applicable limitation periods.
Job applications are kept for the duration of the selection process. If you are not selected, your data is deleted when the process closes, unless you have authorised us to keep it for future opportunities, in which case it is kept for one year from the last time we heard from you.
Communications made through the Internal Reporting System are subject to the periods established by Law 2/2023, which are set out on that system’s page.
In all cases, once the purpose has been fulfilled, the data is blocked and kept solely at the disposal of the courts, tribunals and competent authorities for as long as any liability may arise.
Who may access your data
We do not disclose your data to third parties, unless required by law.
Access is, however, given to the providers that supply services to us and act as data processors, under a signed contract and solely for the purpose of providing that service: our email and office software provider, our job portal and personnel management provider, our website hosting and maintenance provider, and our external advisers where required.
International transfers
Some of our technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by standard contractual clauses, together with any additional measures that may be necessary. You may request information on the safeguards applied by writing to rgpd@grupojuinsa.es.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, as well as the restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting any processing carried out before its withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, simply write to us at rgpd@grupojuinsa.es, or at Avenida del Juguete, 20, 03440 Ibi (Alicante), stating which right you wish to exercise. We will only ask you for additional documentation if we are unable to identify you from the information you provide.
We will respond within one month of receiving your request. If the request is complex or we receive several at the same time, that period may be extended by a further two months, in which case we will inform you within the first month.
If you consider that we have not handled your request properly or that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid.
Security
We apply the technical and organisational measures necessary to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse, and we review those measures periodically.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the processing we carry out or the applicable regulations change. The version published on this page is always the one in force.
